Search Queries
If you enter a name, county, state, or similar search term into a partner search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider operating the tool. This site does not keep its own log of those search terms.
Messages
If you send us an email or other contact message, we use the information in that message to review and respond to it. We do not share contact messages outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement applies.

Virginia public records and law-enforcement records are governed by statutes such as Va. Code sections 2.2-3704 and 2.2-3706, and criminal-history dissemination is addressed in Va. Code section 19.2-389. Requests to change or restrict official jail, court, or criminal-history records must be directed to the agency or court that controls those records.
